Payment Policy:

Ordering is easy with Sheltie Specialties. Just pick one of the ways listed below.

On-Line with Credit Card
If you choose to purchase some of my products by credit card, use a shopping cart system. Each item you choose will be added to your shopping cart. You can view the items, change the items or remove the items in your shopping cart at anytime. Visa, Master Card, and American Express are all accepted.

By Phone
If you choose to purchase products by phone, call us at 1-608-635-7051 between the hours of 9:00am to 3:00pm Central Standard Time. If you reach a recording leave your phone number and name and I'll return your call as soon as possible. You can either pay over the phone with your credit card, send a check or Money order. I'll send your order out as soon as I receive your payment.

By E-Mail
Just contact me via my contact form or call me at 1-608-635-7051 to tell me what products you'd like to order. I will then email you with a total including shipping. You then make your payment with PayPal. This works great for some of my website items that do not have a "put in cart" button.

Step by Step Instructions

  1. Just contact me via my contact form or call me at 1-608-635-7051 to tell me what products you'd like to order.
  2. Availability will be checked and you will be advised via e-mail of the amount due on your order.  (Visa and MC still accepted)
  3. Once you get a response, please do the following.
  4. Make sure you have a PayPal account.  (Using PayPal one time prior does not necessarily mean you have an account-be sure you do!)
  5. Once in PayPal, go to where it says "Send Money" at the top after you login to their account.
  6. PayPal will walk you through the steps for them to send funds to Sheltie Specialties.
  7. You will need our E-mail address
  8. Once we receive payment your order will be acknowledged and processed.

Paper Catalog
We do not have a paper catalog. We are solely internet based, this saves so much paper and makes our trees grow with delight!

As soon as I receive payment, I will ship your order right out!

Shipping

In most cases, all of my shipping is sent via USPS Mail. Please allow 2-3 business days for processing and then 7-10 business days for delivery. Usually you will get your package sooner than 8 business days but it is best to allow atleast 12 business days for delivery.

If your order is large (multiple items, statues, sculptures, etc) your order will be shipped via UPS. These orders will take a bit longer to get to you (10-15 business days). There are also times when we need to special order items or items are made just for your order (handmade wood items, personalized items, etc) these items will take up to an extra two weeks to be made just for you.

Currently our shipping rates are based on price:

The above shipping rates are based on average size orders. Occasionally I will contact you if the shipping needs to be adjusted either up or down.

Packaging Materials
I do my best to recycle packaging materials. So, you may receive a box with peanuts or bubble wrap. These have been recycled from a package that I received. I feel that this way they are getting used once more before going to the dump! If you can use any of the packaging materials again, that makes the planet happy!

Sales Tax
I need to collect sales taxes for orders being delivered in Wisconsin. That rate is 5.5% and is automatic within the billing system.

Returns & Refund Policy

Within 14 days of receipt of your shipment, you may return any item except personalized gift items, for any reason, for a full refund or exchange, excluding the original shipping costs charged to you. In the case of personalized items, if you received the item and it was damaged, it will be exchanged for an identical one.

Bulk orders and discounted orders are not returnable. We recommend that you purchase samples of items you wish to purchase in bulk to ensure the item will suit your needs.

Exchanges will be made if the product you purchased is defective or damaged. Items that are returned more than 14 days after delivery, are in un-sellable condition or appear to be used, will be charged a re-stocking fee at our discretion.

Simply e-mail Sheltie Speciaties. Tell us your name, which items and how many you are returning, and the reason for the return. We will provide you with an authorization number for your return and include instructions on how to send the items back to us.

Refunds

We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned shipment.  You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 7 to 14 business days of our receiving your return. 

Please note that we can refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error.

Packing and Shipping Your Return

Please securely wrap the items you are returning using the original shipping box, if possible, and return with a delivery confirmation so that you have a record that your item was returned to us. For your own protection, we recommend that you insure the package for its return trip to Sheltie Specialties..

All items must be returned in their original packaging, along with all accessories, parts, and instructions that were shipped with your original order. Our 14-day return policy starts from the day your product is received. We need to have the return package postmarked within 14 days of the date that your item was delivered, regardless of what date the product was first used.

Note: If we receive your item back and it does not meet our return policy terms, then we will not issue you a refund or send you a replacement. Such a return also will not be sent back to you.

Send all returns via a ground method that can be tracked (UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail) to:

Along with your return, be sure to include the following:

  1. Your order number and / or your complete name, shipping address, and e-mail address;
  2. A detailed explanation regarding your reason for returning the item(s); and,
  3. Information about whether you would like a refund or a replacement.

No other paperwork, invoice, or preauthorization is needed for your return.

Refunds will appear on your credit card statement within 10 business days. Refunds for those who have paid by bank check or money order may take up to 3 weeks to arrive. Sheltie Specialties will reimburse you for your actual shipping costs if the item arrived damaged or defective, or if you were shipped an incorrect item due to a mistake we made. We are unable to reimburse you for service fees charged by third parties, such as The UPS Store. Otherwise, shipping and handling costs are non-refundable.
